ABOUT ROOTS MUSIC CONCERTS
The Gas House Dance Hall is one room that has a nostalgic vibe and chemistry that engages fans and artists. An experience like no other in the Boro of Catasauqua PA.
The owner of this property custom-built this room for the Lehigh Valley PA Swing Dance Society. Since the pandemic, it was no longer being used for this purpose. Bev Conklin was given the opportunity to create something with this space. She developed the Roots Music Concerts as a BYOB listening room that provides working artists a segue venue to perform for a community of music appreciators and supporters.
After its debut in 2025, a very supportive donor offered to help continue building the concept as they too saw its potential to evolve. More donors/donations are welcome.
Parking is accessible and free. With the vision and investment of the owner, this room has sound, lights, tables and chairs. Rain or shine, these concerts are providing memorable experiences.
