ABOUT ROOTS MUSIC CONCERTS
The Gas House Dance Hall is one room that has a nostalgic vibe and chemistry that engages fans and artists. An experience like no other in the Boro of Catasauqua PA.
The owner of this property custom-built this room for the Lehigh Valley PA Swing Dance Society. Since the pandemic, it was no longer being used for this purpose. Bev Conklin was given the opportunity to create something with this space. She developed the Roots Music Concerts as a BYOB listening room that provides working artists a segue venue to perform for a community of music appreciators and supporters.
After its debut in 2025, a very supportive donor offered to help continue building the concept as they too saw its potential to evolve. More donors/donations are welcome.
Parking is accessible and free. With the vision and investment of the owner, this room has sound, lights, tables and chairs. Rain or shine, these concerts are providing memorable experiences.
- BYOB - this is a bring your own beverage and snacks venue
- Discounts online-only thru to the eve of each show
- Table and chairs, cabaret style seating (or feel free to bring your own chair). Seats cushions highly recommended.
- On-site and on-street parking on a 1~Way Street.
- You are welcome to bring food. Pies on Pizza in Catasauqua menus available for delivery.
- Online ticket sales… your name will be on the PAID list when you arrive if purchased online.
- Hotels near Lehigh Valley International Airport are within 5-10 minutes from the Gas House Dance Hall.
- 2025 Artists: John Primer Band (MAY), Dave Keller Band (JUL), Alexis P. Suter Band (AUG), Billy Price Band (OCT), Mikey Jr. (FEB), The Two Johns (APR), Phyllis Hopkins Electric Trio (JUN) and Big Bone Daddy (SEP) in addition to two much needed fundraisers.
